Unique Public Interior Design
Recently, the Robert Designs team had the pleasure of attending a home show right here in our hometown—Kingston, Ontario. It was an incredible experience full of learning, connection, and community!

Our first big task? Designing and building our booth. It needed to represent who we are, catch the eye of passersby, and feel inviting to anyone curious to chat. We started by creating a 3D mock-up of our vision. Admittedly, we got a little ambitious—especially since this was a last-minute project with a tight budget—but in the end, we pulled off something remarkably close to our original concept, and we’re so proud of how it turned out.
We love the cozy, interior-inspired feel we created. The built-in walls gave the booth a strong presence and a beautiful backdrop, while the lighting naturally drew people in. Adding furniture and seating made a huge difference too—it encouraged longer, more meaningful conversations, which we truly enjoyed.

On show day, we came prepared with informational booklets, fun paintbrush giveaways, and a decorative bowl of candy. These turned out to be fantastic conversation starters—not to mention a hit with fellow attendees and potential collaborators. A special shoutout to our teammate Jenna, who was amazing at welcoming people in and getting the conversations flowing.
All in all, it was a fantastic event that allowed us to connect with so many like-minded individuals and future clients. We’re beyond happy with how everything came together-especially with the time crunch—and we can’t wait for the next one.
